About the Initiative
Anandam Women Empowerment, supported by Atos Foundation, runs a free skill-based training programme for single mothers, widows and underprivileged women in Ambattur, Chennai.
The programme equips women with certified vocational skills, enabling them to achieve financial independence while balancing caregiving responsibilities.
With Atos Foundation’s CSR support, the programme will train 768 women every year over two years (FY 2026–27 & FY 2027–28), reaching 1,536 beneficiaries through three batches of four-month certified courses.

Single mothers of children with special needs, widows, and women from economically weaker sections aged 18–50 years in and around Ambattur, Chennai.
