At Anandam, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our journey into educational assistance began in 2010, inspired by the heartfelt desire of some of our senior residents to contribute meaningfully during their leisure time. They expressed a keen interest in guiding young minds, leading us to initiate evening coaching classes for underprivileged students.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: To provide quality education and support tochildren from low-income families, empowering them to pursue their dreams and break the cycle of poverty.
Many of the students we support come from challenging backgrounds—single-parent households or difficult environments with alcoholic fathers. They are mostly first- generation learners, whose parents have little to no formal education and are unable tohelp them academically. Financial hardships further hinder these bright minds frompursuing higher education.
Our Education Centre was born out of a commitment to address these challenges andnurture the potential of these deserving children.
What began humbly in 2010 with just 7 students has now blossomed into a vibrant community of 270 students from standards 3 to 12. We provide themwith after- school coaching sessions, guided by a dedicated team of 30 professional teachers, including some of our own residents who enthusiastically mentor and inspire these young minds.
The results of our educational assistance have been nothing short of remarkable. These students consistently show outstanding improvement in their academic performance. We go beyond traditional coaching by also preparing them for competitive exams like NEET and CA, enabling them to dream bigger and aim higher.
During the 2024-25 academic year, we proudly supported:

We thank the sponsors for the immense support they extend at every stage! We are delighted to announce that the Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF), a foundation based in New York, has renewed its support for another year. For the past four years, Anandam Trust has been the recipient of GKF’s generous support.
GKF has been a steadfast supporter of our cause by covering the operational expenses of our after-school tuition program, benefiting approximately 270 to 300 children every day. Their support has played a pivotal role in empowering first-generation learners and providing them with the resources they need to succeed. As a result of these efforts, children have made great strides in their respective schools and colleges.
The collaboration between Anandam Trust and GKF exemplifies a shared commitment to providing quality education and support to underprivileged children. Together, we will make a tangible difference in the lives of children as we work tirelessly to craft a better future for all.
